The Post Graduate Department of Home Science, St. Joseph’s College for Women, Alappuzha has organized an invited talk titled “Career Prospects of Nutrigenetics and Orientation on Nutrigenetic Courses.”The session was led by Dr. Janani Tamilvanan, Director of the Institute of Nutrigenetics, Coimbatore. The students were introduced to the emerging field of nutrigenetics, highlighting its growing scope in health and research sectors, and guided available academic and career pathways and motivation to start a nutrigenetics counselling centre in Kerala. The event was organized at research block on 19th November 2025 co ordinated by Faculty Dr. Bhagya D, Head of the Department of Home Science and student coordinator Bhagyalekshmi P. M.
