Anweshan Faculty Research Grant
St. Joseph's College for Women, Alappuzha
The Anweshan Faculty Research Grant is a prestigious initiative instituted by the management of St. Joseph's College for Women, Alappuzha and Research and Development Cell from 2019 onwards . Designed to foster a vibrant research culture among faculty members, this grant is awarded following a structured process of nomination and rigorous proposal screening. Successful candidates receive seed funding to support innovative research projects. Grant recipients are required to present their research progress and findings at CONVOKE, the college’s annual research forum and submit the project report with outcome to the RDC.  These presentations provide a platform for intellectual exchange and critical feedback. The outcomes of the funded projects are carefully analyzed each year . Based on these evaluations, constructive suggestions are provided to enhance the quality and impact of research. This continuous cycle of funding, presentation, feedback, and improvement has significantly contributed to promoting research-driven initiatives,  good quality publications, books, book chapters encouraging the establishment of start-ups, and laying the groundwork for a campus-based incubation centre.
