Josephian Alumnae Association of St. Joseph’s College for Women Alappuzha (JAASA), a registered Alumnae Association, provides a platform for building a strong network among students who have graduated from the college in the last 69 years. Every year the departmental Alumnae Associations organize formal and informal reunions for its members. Even during the pandemic, the association engaged actively by arranging virtual meetings to augment their continuous rapport with the institution. Our alumnae are also involved in the development of college and society through outreach efforts. Over the years, they have voluntarily provided monetary and human resource contributions to the institution. Some of our illustrious alumnae include Tessy Thomas (Project Director of Agni Missiles), Mini Antony IAS, Smt. Devi Chandana ( Film Star). The alumnae have shouldered many responsibilities of the institution through numerous activities. Josephian Alumnae of St. Joseph’s College for Women, Alappuzha is registered into a society under the Travancore Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act 12 of 1955 Travancore on the 12th of July 2023 with the Registration Number ALP/TC/310/2023.
